Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a sustainable approach to managing pests by combining biological, cultural, physical, and chemical tools to minimize the economic, health, and environmental risks, based on science to maximize crop yield. The University of Hawai’iʻs Department of Plant and Environmental Protection Sciences in conjunction with their partners over the years have provided comprehensive guidelines for several of Hawai’iʻs agricultural pests.
