Getting to Know Cassava

Cassava is an important staple  in many cultures. In fact, it is the third most consumed starch in the world. This workshop aims to bring cassava to your farm. The workshop will include relevant information about cassava, how to plant, propagate and utilize cassava on an introductory level.

Rooted in Potential: Cassava as a Crop for Hawai‘i’s Future

Explore how cassava can grow from a resilient root crop into a viable agricultural and economic opportunity for Hawai‘i. This workshop is designed for farmers, growers, and food system stakeholders interested in production, processing, and market potential.
